DuPont Pioneer is pleased to announce a $3,000 award to the Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation to be used toward the development of a new Going and Growing interactive mobile learning application.
The new mobile app will complement the current Ag Cab Labs and My American Farm exhibits, which are visited by thousands every year. Individuals will be encouraged to download the app while visiting the exhibits, giving them and their families the opportunity to learn more about Minnesota agriculture while at home or driving to their favorite destinations.
“We are excited to collaborate with the Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation on this innovative project to enhance learning opportunities about agriculture and farmers,” said DuPont Pioneer business director Patrick Yockey.
“We want to thank DuPont Pioneer for their support of this project,” said Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation director Ruth Meirick. “Our vision is to create an application that includes a library of crops grown and animals raised in Minnesota, along with different types of farming practices, all with the goal of stimulating learning about agriculture.”
