Mission Statement

Minnesota Farm Bureau is an advocate for agriculture
driven by the beliefs and policies of our members.

Welcome to the Minnesota Farm Bureau

Farm Bureau is an organization guided and directed by our nearly 30,000 member families – teachers, farmers, community leaders, husbands, wives, parents and business owners. Each one is concerned about their children, families, communities and making Minnesota a great place to live and work.

We exist to serve members because we share the values they hold dear – hard work, love of community, passion for the land and belief rooted in faith and family. Our services, programs and benefits are rooted in the cause, concerns and needs that are important to our members based on their beliefs and values.

Minnesota Farmers Celebrate Milestone Speaking Out for Agriculture

Minnesota farmers have a great story to tell and consumers are listening. The Minnesota Farm Bureau Foundation’s community outreach program, Farming Today has reached a key milestone by helping farmers tell their story to 500 civic and professional organizations and schools across the state. Farming Today connects farmers with consumers who want to better understand where their food comes from. Brooten, Minn., farmer Lucas Sjostrom of Jer-Lindy Farms delivered the 500th Farming Today speech to students at Champlin Park High School on January 17. Sjostrom addressed students during class at Champlin Park High School.
