Ruth Meirick rejoined Minnesota Farm Bureau in September 2004. She previously worked for Farm Bureau from 1996-2002. Ruth currently holds the position of southeast area program director. Previously, she served as the director of organization development.

Ruth's responsibilities include the leadership of 13 county Farm Bureau's. She is also responsible for the area's membership acquisition and retention.

Ruth has a wide range of experience with Farm Bureau and agriculture. She has served as an area program director, coordinator of the state Young Farmers and Ranchers program and of the Promotion and Education program and as an associate director of field services. Meirick is the former president and former office assistant of the Dodge County Farm Bureau.
