Perry Aasness is the executive director for the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation.

Aasness most recently worked for the National Pork Board as the vice president, producer and industry relations. Prior to that, he served as Minnesota's state executive director for the United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency; Minnesota Department of Agriculture deputy commissioner and assistant commissioner; executive director of the Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association; staff assistant for former U.S. Senator Rod Grams, and farmed near Fergus Falls, Minnesota.

Aasness believes that Farm Bureau plays an important role in representing the interests of farmers and ranchers, and appreciates the opportunity to help Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation continue to be a key leader and voice for Minnesota agriculture."

He and his wife, Kim and their two daughters live in Woodbury, Minnesota.
