Elected Officials Address Farm Bureau Members

Farm Bureau members from Minnesota appreciated hearing from and visiting with elected officials at the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Annual Meeting November 15-17. United States Senator Tina Smith; Representatives Collin Peterson and Tom Emmer; and Representative-Elects Jim Hagedorn and Dean Phillips attended the meeting.

“Minnesota Farm Bureau greatly appreciated the time our elected officials took to meet with farmers and ranchers at our 100th Annual Meeting,” said MFBF President Kevin Paap. “With everything going on in Congress: farm bill, wolves, appropriations and trade, we appreciate having conversations on those issues that our members care deeply about.”

“Early engagement with elected officials is important,” said President Paap. “We appreciated the time with our Congressional delegation as their first stop after their week in Washington D.C.”
