2025 County Awards Announced

The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) recognized the outstanding work and leadership of its county and regional Farm Bureaus during an awards ceremony as part of the organization’s 107th Annual Meeting on November 21 in Minnetonka.
The County Activities of Excellence program recognizes county and regional Farm Bureau programming conducted during the year that aligns with MFBF’s strategic initiatives: agriculture awareness, grassroots advocacy, member engagement, and governance.
This year, 64 counties and regional Farm Bureaus were honored with the County Activities of Excellence
Award for achieving goals set in at least one of the four strategic areas. Those recognized include:
Aitkin/Carlton, Anoka, Arrowhead Regional, Beltrami, Big Stone, Blue Earth, Brown, Carver, Cass, Chisago, Clay, Cottonwood, Crow Wing, Dakota, Dodge, Douglas, East Otter Tail, East Polk, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Grant, Headwaters Regional, Hennepin, Houston, Jackson, Kanabec/Isanti, Kandiyohi, Koochiching, Lake of the Woods, Le Sueur, Lincoln, Martin, McLeod, Meeker, Morrison, Mower, Nicollet, Norman, Northwest Regional, Olmsted, Pine, Pope, Rice, Scott, Sibley, Stearns, Steele, Stevens, Swift, Todd, Traverse, Wabasha, Wadena, Waseca, Washington/Ramsey, Watonwan, West Otter Tail, West Polk, Wilkin, Winona, Wright, and Yellow Medicine.
The Premier County Farm Bureau Award is presented to counties that achieved goals in all four of the above strategic initiatives. This year, 14 counties received the Premier County designation: Aitkin/Carlton, Crow Wing, East Polk, Fillmore, Grant, Le Sueur, McLeod, Olmsted, Rice, Sibley, Todd, Waseca, West Otter Tail, and Winona.
MFBF congratulates each of this year’s recognized counties for their outstanding work in strengthening agriculture and engaging members.
