The Minn Farm Bureau Political Action Committee (MFB PAC) and Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation Political Action Committee (MFBF PAC) recently announced their endorsements for candidates seeking state and federal office in the upcoming November 2026 elections.

Minnesota Farm Bureau members across the state have participated in the organization’s grassroots endorsement process for decades, engaging candidates seeking election in races at the state and national levels.

Candidates who choose to participate interview with Farm Bureau members from their state or congressional districts, and answer a series of questions related to agriculture, rural issues and Farm Bureau policy. At the conclusion of the interviews, Farm Bureau members submit their endorsement recommendations to the State PAC Committee.

After all interviews are completed and recommendations received, the State PAC Committee reviews the recommendations and makes final endorsement decisions. The Committee is also responsible for interviewing and endorsements for the offices of governor and senate. The PAC Committee includes county Farm Bureau members from across the state.

“One of the strengths of our endorsement process is the direct connection it creates between candidates and our grassroots Farm Bureau membership,” said State PAC Committee Chair Delvin Durheim. “The interviews give candidates an opportunity to discuss their positions and allow our members to ask questions about the issues impacting agriculture and rural communities. Those conversations help members evaluate candidates while also building relationships that strengthen agriculture’s voice at the Capitol.”

Both the MFB and MFBF PAC are voluntary organizations and do not receive financial support from Minnesota Farm Bureau membership dues.
