Ambra Andrist of the Kasson-Mantorville FFA chapter is the winner of the Farm Bureau FFA Discussion Meet, sponsored by the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation and its Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee.

As the competition winner, Andrist received a plaque and a scholarship to either attend the National FFA Washington D.C. Leadership Conference or to use to further her education.

Salome Meyer of the Highland Park FFA chapter placed second, and also received a scholarship to either attend the National FFA Washington D.C. Leadership Conference or to use to further her education.

Also advancing to the final four were Luke McCrea of the Bethlehem Academy FFA chapter and Clara Pagel of the Russel-Tyler-Ruthton FFA chapter. A total of sixteen regional winners from across the state competed in the finals at the conference. 

The Discussion Meet competition encourages participants to have a conversation about current agriculture topics. The discussion simulates a committee meeting with the goal of finding a solution.
