The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Promotion & Education Committee recently selected the winners of its “Farmers Produce More than Produce” video contest.

Riley Allord of Fort Ripley was selected as the 2022 grand prize winner, while Kaytlynn Kenyon of Hancock and Josie Brandt of Clontarf were also recognized for their submissions. Allord won the competition with an educational video about flowers and Minnesota bees. He will receive $200 to host a video release party and a movie poster featuring his winning video.

Kenyon and Brandt will each take home a $200 cash prize for their submissions about the many byproducts that come from livestock.

All three individuals will also receive a t-shirt and two admission tickets to the Minnesota State Fair where their videos will be viewable inside the Minnesota Farm Bureau building. The Farmers Produce More than Produce video contest was open to youth across the state, encouraging them to create videos :30 seconds or less containing accurate agricultural facts that focused on one of two topic areas: livestock or crops. This is the second year the competition was held.
