Minnesota Farm Bureau President Dan Glessing and Membership and Marketing Specialist Dennis Sabel received the Minnesota FFA Honorary State Degree during the first general session of the 97th Minnesota FFA State Convention.
The Minnesota FFA Honorary State Degree is bestowed upon individuals who have shown exemplary service towards Minnesota FFA and helping grow young leaders. This year thirty five individuals received this distinguished recognition.
“I am humbled to receive the honorary state degree. I know firsthand the impact Minnesota FFA has on the lives of students, and I continue to live those experiences today alongside my family,” said Dan Glessing, “I am grateful for those times and the opportunity to keep giving back to the organization.”
“It is a great honor to be recognized by FFA, an organization I grew up with and have been involved with for over 50 years,” Dennis Sabel said, “I look forward to continuing to give back to this organization that means so much to me.”
The Honorary State Degree highlights the important role that supporters, partners, and advocates play in strengthening agricultural education and leadership development across Minnesota. The recognition reflects the shared mission of organizations like Farm Bureau and FFA to invest in youth and ensure a strong future for agriculture in Minnesota.
