The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) recognized those who recruited new members to the organization in 2021 at the 103rd MFBF Annual Meeting on November 19 in Bloomington. 

MFBF Membership Recruiters
Producers Club members are those who recruit five or more new members to Farm Bureau in the year. This year, 47 people are in the Producers Club.

The top membership recruiters for 2021 are: Carolyn Olson, Cottonwod, Lyon County; Joyce Welander, Stillwater, Washington-Ramsey County; Keith Allen, Kenyon, Goodhue County; Scott Winslow, Fountain, Fillmore County; and Ron Nelson, Amery, WI, Chisago County.

The Harvester Award is given to individuals who recruit 25 or more new members in a five-year period. This year, the Harvester Award was given to Peter Bakken of Garretson, SD, in Rock County.

Farm Bureau Financial Services (FBFS) recognized their agents who contributed to Farm Bureau membership recruitment.

The Builders Club, agents who signed more than 50 new members, included: Ryan Elbert, North Star Agency; Suemaya Azadi, Eagle Ridge Agency; Corey Madrid, Eagle Ridge Agency; Jennifer Nielson, North Star Agency; Scott Fransen, Frontier Agency; Scott Evans, Eagle Ridge Agency; Monte Dufault, Eagle Ridge Agency; Matthew Hemker, Eagle Ridge Agency; and Michelle Beck, Great North Agency.

The Elite Builders Club, agents who signed more than 75 new members, included: Zach Gerdes, Frontier Agency; Tami Kraft, The Lakes Agency; Matthew Anderson, The Great North Agency; Chase Carlson, The Great North Agency; Paul Chapman, The Lakes Agency; and Dan Pumper, Eagle Ridge Agency.

The Top Builders Club is agents who signed 100 new members. This year’s recipient was Brett Carlson of The Great North Agency.

Farm Bureau Financial Services Awards
A new award from Farm Bureau Financial Services (FBFS) this year recognizes the insurance agency that has the highest average of new Farm Bureau members signed per agent. The Agency of the Year was awarded to The Lakes Agency in New Brighton. The agency manager is Jerome Hahn.
