The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) is pleased to announce the hiring of Alison Murrell as its new communications specialist.

In this role, Murrell will support MFBF’s communications efforts across multiple platforms. Her responsibilities will include managing social media, maintaining the organization’s website, producing video content, and writing feature stories.

Murrell is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, where she earned a degree in agricultural communications and marketing. She is already familiar with MFBF, having served as the organization’s communications intern during the summer of 2024.\

Murrell brings a strong passion for agriculture to the position. She was actively involved in both 4-H and FFA as a youth and most recently served as the 2023–2024 Minnesota FFA State Secretary. She also owns and shows horses and continues to stay engaged in youth programming through volunteer work.
