The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) is pleased to announce the hiring of Jasper Oeltjen as its leadership specialist.

 

In this role, Oeltjen will lead MFBF’s Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) program and support other leadership development efforts. Her responsibilities include coordinating YF&R competitions, overseeing Minnesota Farm Bureau’s youth programming, and planning the organization’s annual leadership conference.

 

Oeltjen brings a strong background in agriculture and leadership to the position. She grew up in a family with a cow-calf operation and is the founder of Heritage & Horizons, where she works alongside producers and agricultural leaders as a cattle coach and herd strategist.

 

Her involvement in the industry includes serving on the board of the Minnesota Cattlewomen’s Association, participating in the Minnesota Beef Council’s Top of Class program, and supporting leadership development efforts across agricultural organizations.
