The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) has hired Emma Wielinski as the communications specialist. Her first day will be Feb. 20, 2023.

In this role, Wielinski will support the communications efforts for the Federation, including social media, website maintenance, video and writing stories.

“I love meeting new people and forming connections, that’s why I got into communications,” said Wielinski. “I don’t have a typical agricultural background, but I found my home in the agricultural community. I am excited to bring my insight to the communications specialist position at MFBF.”

Wielinski is originally from Massachusetts and is a graduate of the University of Arizona where she received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications. While in college, she was the vice president of MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences) and was an Ambassador for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Emma previously worked for Land O’Lakes, and gained communication experiences working with farmers all over the United States.
