The finalist in the 2023 Minnesota Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) Achievement Award competition was recently announced. The contest judging will take place during the Minnesota Farm Bureau Annual Meeting, Nov. 17-18 in Bloomington. 

Taking part this year are: 

Dan and Megan Roberts, Blue Earth County 

Dan and Megan are members of Blue Earth County Farm Bureau, where Dan serves as the county president. They raise hogs, corn and soybeans on their family farm and are actively engaged in advocating for agriculture. 

The Achievement Award highlights efforts in production farming and leadership achievement. Contestants are evaluated on a combination of their farming operation growth and financial progress of operation, Farm Bureau leadership, as well as leadership outside of Farm Bureau.
