Minnesota Farm Bureau Holds Election for Board Members and Vice President

Carolyn Olson of Cottonwood (Lyon County) was re-elected to serve a two-year term as vice president on the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation Board of Directors during the organization’s annual meeting.
“It is an honor to serve the Farm Bureau members across Minnesota,” said Olson. “I am grateful for their support and look forward to another term”.
Also returning to the board to serve three-year terms are Jeff Pagel (Olmsted County) representing District 1, and Miles Kuschel (Cass County) representing District 6. Elected to complete two years of a three-year term vacated by former MFBF District 7 Director Shayne Isane was Bruce Brenden of West Polk County.
Newly elected members to the board serving one-year terms are Tiffany Kobbermann of Pope County as the Promotion & Education Committee Chair and Katie Drewitz of Fillmore County as the Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee Chair.
Retiring Board Members
Completing their one-year terms on the MFBF Board of Directors were Steven Schoenfeld of Waseca County and Jessie Bester of Dakota County. Schoenfeld served as the chair of the Promotion & Education Committee, while Bester was the chair of the Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee. Former District 7 Director Shayne Isane was also recognized for his time on the board from 2017-2024.
