Minnesota Farm Bureau Recognizes County Outreach

The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) recognized the outstanding work and leadership of its County Farm Bureaus programming and outreach during an awards ceremony as part of the organization’s 104th Annual Meeting on Nov. 18 in Bloomington.
County Activities of Excellence
The County Activities of Excellence program recognizes program work that county Farm Bureaus conduct during the year in five areas: Public policy, communications and outreach, promotion and education, leadership development, and membership achievement.
The following counties were recognized for their efforts in at least two areas: Anoka, Beltrami, Benton-Mille Lacs, Big Stone, Blue Earth, Brown, Carver, Cass, Chisago, Clay, Crow Wing, Dakota, Dodge, East Otter Tail, Faribault, Fillmore, Freeborn, Goodhue, Grant, Headwaters Regional, Hennepin, Houston, Jackson, Kanabec-Isanti, Kandiyohi, Le Sueur, Martin, McLeod, Meeker, Mower, Nicollet, Norman, Northwest Regional, Olmsted, Pine, Rice, Rock, Scott, Sibley, Stearns, Steele, Traverse, Wabasha, Waseca, Washington-Ramsey, Watonwan, West Otter Tail, Winona, Wright and Yellow Medicine.
The Premier County Farm Bureau Award is given to counties that excelled in all five of the above activity areas. In 2022, 17 counties received the Premier County designation: Beltrami, Cass, Chisago, Crow Wing, Faribault, Fillmore, Headwaters Regional, Kanabec-Isanti, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Nicollet, Rock, Stearns, Steele, Wabasha, Washington-Ramsey and Wright.
