On Tuesday, June 25 Redwood County Farm Bureau hosted their “I Met a Farmer Tour.” During the event, nearly 30 invited guests boarded a bus and made various stops throughout the county to learn about diverse crop and livestock operations including The Lower Sioux Indian Community to hear about the hempcrete project used for housing, a robotic dairy and a regenerative beef farm.  Attendees gained new knowledge on agriculture economics and the always-improving technology in agriculture. The event finished with a steak dinner and tractor rides.
