The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) has hired Tara Meyer as the West Central Area Membership & Marketing Specialist. Her first day was March 17, 2025.

In this role, Meyer will support the membership and outreach efforts for 12 counties in the west central part of the state. Those counties include Big Stone, Douglas, Grant, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Morrison, Pope, Stearns, Stevens, Swift, Todd and Traverse.  

“I’m looking forward to working with the counties in West Central Minnesota in District four,” said Meyer. “I aim to continue the great work being done to support local, state and national legislative efforts, along with promoting agriculture in these communities.”

A graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Meyer most recently served as the Financial Services Specialist for Lighthouse Strategic Solutions. I this role, she managed financials for multiple clients while also co-owing her family dairy operation, Meyer Dairy. Prior to that, she was a member of the Minnesota Farm Bureau staff, serving in various roles over 8 years including the Southeast Area Program Director and Associate Director of Public Relations.
